The SEO Quick Wins Report is one of the AI SEO tools I built to solve a specific problem: most sites already have the data they need to improve rankings sitting unused in Google Search Console. This tool pulls that data, finds the queries where you’re closest to a breakthrough, and checks your page against the real pages currently outranking you.
I’m Simon McCullagh, and I run SEO Services NI from Newry, working with businesses across Northern Ireland and the wider UK. There’s no account manager and no outsourced team — you work directly with me, from the initial data pull through to the final report. This page explains what the report finds, how it works, and what you actually receive.
What the Quick Wins Report finds
A genuine SEO quick win is a change that’s cheap to make and likely to move the needle quickly, because the groundwork is largely already there. The report works from your real Google Search Console data: it compares your top pages period over period and picks out the highest-opportunity queries, where a focused improvement is most likely to pay off.
These are the low-hanging fruit of SEO: improvements that don’t require a content rebuild or months of link building, just sharper targeting of demand you’re already attracting. If you haven’t looked at this data before, or aren’t sure what’s already underperforming, an SEO audit is a useful starting point alongside the report.
How it works

Want your quick wins?
Runs monthly or on demand, using your Google Search Console data.
Agency? Ask about white-label to resell it under your own brand.
Here’s what happens at each point in the diagram. None of it relies on invented data — everything is grounded in what Google Search Console and live SERPs actually show:
- Search Console data pull. The tool connects to your property, compares your top pages period over period, and picks the highest-opportunity queries to work on. It runs monthly or on demand.
- Live competitor analysis. For each high-opportunity query, the tool crawls your page and the top three real ranking competitor pages, then builds a side-by-side comparison of structure, headings and content depth — not guesswork about what an ideal page looks like, but a direct competitor analysis against the pages Google is actually ranking above you right now. This stage shows where your page is thinner, less specific, or missing subtopics the competing pages cover.
- Grounded suggestion generation. With both combined, Claude generates specific improvement suggestions grounded in that comparison, such as a subtopic every top-three competitor covers that your page doesn’t. The suggestions come from the real comparison, not a generic checklist.
What you get
Once the analysis is complete, the findings are delivered in three formats:
- A branded PDF report — a structured document listing each quick win identified, the query and page it relates to, the competitor comparison behind the suggestion, and the specific action to take.
- A Slack digest — a condensed version of the key findings posted to a Slack channel (yours or a shared one), so quick wins surface where your team already works rather than sitting in an inbox.
- A logged entry in Google Sheets — every run is recorded in a running Sheets log, so you can track which quick wins were flagged, when, and whether they were actioned, building a history over time rather than a one-off snapshot.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as an SEO quick win? An improvement that’s cheap to make and likely to produce a fast result because most of the groundwork already exists. The report finds them by comparing your top pages period over period in Search Console and checking the highest-opportunity queries against the pages outranking you. See what the Quick Wins Report finds for more.
Do I need Google Search Console access to run the report? Yes. It’s the source of the query, click and impression data the whole report is built on. If your site isn’t verified yet, you can verify by DNS record, HTML file upload or a small tag on your site, and I can talk you through it during onboarding.
How often should I run the report? Monthly is a sensible default for most sites, since the data shifts gradually and a monthly run is enough to catch new opportunities as rankings move. Sites with frequent content changes or larger query volumes may benefit from running it more often.
